RESOURCE HANDBOOK
Compiled and Published facts and figures of
credit and equity products available for Small
and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in a slim
handbook available to all SME stakeholders.
The handbook increases awareness on the part
of the private entrepreneur of the existence
of various financing products available for
their businesses thus linking SMEs with local
investment funds.

BUSINESS WOMEN FORUM (NBWF)
Carried out due diligence for 10 business members
of the women forum leading to the MCS engagement
as business consultants to these small businesses.
Amongst services offered includes financial
advisory services on raising working capital,
advisory services on production and quality
improvement, and management of their human resources.

EQUITY FINANCE SEMINAR
Conceptualized, organized and facilitated the
SME Equity Finance Seminar alongside the Africa
Project Development Facility and the Institute
of SME Finance, Washington, DC. A full fledged
international case study based seminar borne
out of the need for banks & other finance
investment houses to build the capacity of their
finance professionals in making equity capital
investments in small and medium enterprises
(SMEs) covered all equity investment processes:
deal generation; due diligence, analysis &
valuation; structuring; post-investment support;
and exits.

WORLD
BANK/CONFEDERATION OF DANISH INDUSTRIES (DI)
MCS Consulting was in August 2003 appointed
the DI Local Consultant to provide support in
administrative and executive issues as it affects
its technical partnership project to build MAN’s
capacity in delivering Policy Advocacy and Fee-Based
Consulting services to its members. This project
is a World Bank sponsored project.

Conceptualized, organized and facilitated an
international workshop on institutionalizing
“continuous improvement” quality
and customer service towards enhancing organizations’
productivity. The country’s Manufacturing
Association of Nigeria (MAN) endorsed the workshop.

LEADERSHIP STRATEGY RETREAT, SOUTH AFRICA
Led the executives of the Petroleum & Natural
Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN)
on a strategy retreat session in South African.
MCS collaborated with our South African strategic
partners and labor unions to facilitate this
retreat.
